Microsoft Updates Interface for Edge Add-ons Page

Microsoft has recently announced an update to the Edge Add-on website, designed to ‘make it easier for users to find and acquire add-ons such as extensions and themes through a more modern store’.
According to Microsoft’s announcement, the Edge Add-on interface will become more streamlined, focusing on ease of access to various sections. Key areas will be highlighted, including Discover (recommendations and featured content), extensions, themes, and sidebar applications.

Additionally, Microsoft has revamped the suggestion functionality in the search section. Promising “more relevant and useful suggestions as users type,” the updated search now includes a “Get” button next to highlighted suggestions, allowing users to quickly install extensions directly from the dropdown menu.

The Add-on website also enables users to filter search results by product type, category, rating, and more. Meanwhile, the Themes section will be more efficiently categorized.

As shown in the image above, users will soon be able to explore curated collections of extensions and themes focused on specific topics or interests, helping them discover useful extensions or visually appealing themes for a fresh look.

For now, these interface changes will be rolled out gradually to Microsoft Edge users. To view the updates, visit the Add-on page via this link or by clicking Menu > Extensions > Get Extensions for Microsoft Edge.
