How to Cancel X Premium+ Subscription Subscription

As mentioned in the previous article discussing a brief review of social media X, once my X Premium+ subscription, which I purchased for Rp25,000, expires, I will not renew it. The price is too high, and I rarely access the platform anymore.
Similar to most app subscriptions, when the subscription period is about to end, you’ll receive a bill to continue. If you’ve linked a credit card, it usually renews automatically, which is often not beneficial.
As asked by Hasta Galih Zacharia below, when the subscription is nearing its end, should we simply cancel it to avoid automatic renewal?

The answer is yes. Before the subscription ends, if you don’t wish to continue, you can opt for cancellation. Here’s a summarized guide on How to Cancel X Premium+ Subscription.
Step 1. First, visit x.com and log in with the premium account you want to cancel.

Step 2. Next, navigate to the Premium > Manage Premium menu.

Step 3. Then, select Manage your current subscription.

Step 4. After that, choose Cancel Subscription.

Click Next and then select Continue to Cancel.

Here’s the result: on the payment page, you’ll see a notification stating Cancels [date] and Your subscription will be canceled on [date].

Honestly, X Premium is good, but I never use the features it offers. Additionally, I only open this social media when I need to find information about the latest technology abroad. Meanwhile, content in our region is often filled with pornography, sensitive topics, rainbow communities, Shopee links, and other uninteresting things.
Give it a try, and I hope this article is helpful if you’re also looking to cancel your X Premium subscription.
