Leaked Steam Integration Mockup in Xbox App Goes Public!!!

Microsoft has shared some exciting updates in a recent blog post, showcasing the new interface for the Xbox app. This updated version is designed to seamlessly adapt to various devices, including TVs, tablets, and portable gadgets. Overall, the app’s interface now closely resembles that of the Xbox gaming console.

Interestingly, the mockup images revealed in the announcement included a surprising detail: a Steam label embedded in the interface. This suggests that future versions of the Xbox app might support displaying games installed via Steam and other gaming platforms.

According to a report by The Verge, which cited sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans, the development of this new app version is still in its early stages. When questioned about the interface, Microsoft swiftly removed the image from its blog and has yet to address inquiries regarding the shared updates.

The initial mockup has since been replaced with a new image, as shown above. If Microsoft successfully integrates this functionality, it could be a game-changer, especially for users who actively play games on both Xbox and Steam.
