Microsoft Fixes Copilot Deletion Issue Following Windows Update

Recently, coinciding with the release of the March 2025 Patch Tuesday, Microsoft acknowledged that the update inadvertently removed Copilot automatically from Windows 10 and 11 systems.

Interestingly, several users have expressed that this update is the best in the history of Windows 11, as Copilot’s presence was not particularly well-received, especially by those who do not utilize the application or its services.
Nevertheless, Microsoft acted swiftly, as this was ultimately a bug in the update they released. The company has since resolved the issue.

For those unaware, this issue specifically affected users who were not subscribed to Microsoft 365 and only occurred for a select group of users. After updating their systems with the patches (KB5053606 / KB5053596 / KB5053594 / KB5053618 for Windows 10 and KB5053598 / KB5053602 for Windows 11), some users noticed that Copilot had disappeared from their systems.
Now that the issue has been fixed, Copilot is once again accessible. Did you encounter this problem, and what are your thoughts on it?
