Recently, Insider Beta users may have encountered an issue where attempting to reset their password from the Lockscreen resulted in a black screen or crash, making the reset process impossible.
As shown in the image above, clicking forgot my password on the Lockscreen should redirect users to their email login page, where further steps like OTP verification would take place.

Unfortunately, due to a bug, this page failed to display correctly, forcing users back to the initial screen. However, users can still reset their password through the settings page as usual.
Regarding this bug, Microsoft has addressed the issue in the latest update KB5052084 (Windows 11 Insider Beta Build 22635.4945), ensuring the password reset page now appears as intended.
In addition to fixing this bug, the update also includes various other improvements, such as enhanced reliability for File Explorer, Input, and more.
