If you used this method, you’ll need to save it manually in an image editor like Paint. You can also paste the screenshot directly into programs that support image insertion, such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs.

If you used the Win + Prt Sc combination, the screenshot will be copied to the clipboard. However, Windows also saves it directly to your computer. You can access it by navigating to Pictures > Screenshots in File Explorer.
If you used the Snipping Tool, your screenshot will be saved in the same folder as when using Win + Prt Sc (Pictures > Screenshots). Additionally, it will also be available in the clipboard.
If you used the Xbox Game Bar, you can find your screenshots in This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Users > [your username] > Videos > Captures.

Alternatively, you can also locate your screenshots directly from the Game Bar. Press Win + G to open the app, then click Capture > camera icon > Widget. On the Capture widget page, click See My Captures.
See, finding your screenshots in Windows 11 is pretty straightforward, right?
