How to Set Print Screen Button to Open Snipping Tool in Windows 11

In Windows 11, you can remap the print screen key to launch the Snipping Tool, making it easier to capture screenshots.
Typically, taking a screenshot in Windows 11 involves pressing the print screen key and then pasting the image into Paint or another application. Alternatively, you can access the Snipping Tool by using the Win + Shift + S keyboard shortcut.

Instead of configuring the Win + Shift + S shortcut, you can assign its function to a single Print Screen key. If you’re curious, here’s a quick guide on how to do it.
Step 1. First, open Settings > Accessibility.

After that, you can take screenshots in the same way as using the Win + Shift + S shortcut.
